i feel like i should be eating this if i didn’t have any teeth. everything is sort of mushy, especially the chicken. in fact, it’s hard to make out the chicken meat, which seems like it was processed through a blender. the burrito is alright. the beans are alright, though mushy. the dessert (“cocada pudding” tastes a lot like almond jello, which i don’t like, but that’s not the dessert’s fault. this gets a c-

hungry man boneless chicken stix
there’s always something a bit nerve-wracking about eating artifically formed food (hello mcRib!). this was pretty darn good. the breading is seasoned and has a lot of flavor. the chicken is fairly tender. the fries were slightly crunchy instead of the usual soggy mess (i cooked it in the overn, not the microwave). this gets a b+
ajinomoto asian-style pork fried rice
pretty good japanese-style fried rice with decent rice and decent flavor, if a tiny bit on the bland side. wifey likes it a lot. grade: b
van de kamp’s x-large crispy fish sticks
the breading is yum, and it’s really crispy! the fish was kind’a dry, but that could’ve been my fault…i think i overcooked them a bit. i don’t know about the 25% bigger…bigger than what?? they’re about the same size as any other fish stick i’ve had. it gets a b. maybe it’ll get a better grade next time if it turns out i did overcook ’em.
hung fook tong imperatae cane drink
don’t know what possessed me to try this, since i don’t like any other imperatae drink. this one wasn’t quite as nasty as other imperatae cane drinks, but it’s bad enough. d
essensia sicilian style pizza
this looked a lot more promising than it really is. texture and taste-wise, it reminds me of a slightly better “mama celeste” frozen pizza. the sausage is pretty good though. it gets a c.
swanson’s hungry-man popcorn chicken
i usually *like* swanson’s tv dinners, but this one was surprisingly bland. the chicken was bland. the breading was bland. the sauce was like watered down marinara sauce. the pizza sticks were like unflavored dough filled with bland cheese. sorry swanson: this gets a c-
ben & jerry’s american pie
omigod! this is SOOOOO good! tastes just like apple pie a la mode! yum! a+!
trader ming’s pad thai
not quite sure how “trader joe” became “trader ming.” i guess that’s his “asian” alias. this pad thai is very skimpy on the quantity and very sour. maybe it’s authentic, maybe not. i’m not a pad thai lover enough to tell the difference. it’s quick and easy to prepare though. b-
stouffer’s corner bistro beef tips in bbq sauce
the beef’s pretty tender, but the sweet bbq sauce is kind’a boring. the potato wedges with cheese and bacon is nothing to write home about. so far, none of the stouffer’s “corner bistro” entree’s have been particularly good or exciting. c-
