The filling is slightly better than swanson’s beef pie, with more meat and veggies, and very tasty. There’s almost too much filling, and once you mix in the crust, the whole pie gets really dense. The crust isn’t very flaky, though, and I prefer the swanson pie crust. Don’t cook this in the microwave: it make the crust a bit too crunchy and hard, and the microwave makes the beef a bit tough. b+
The chicken is teeny tiny but pretty good tasting. The skin tastes really good, but the meat is bit bland…it could’ve used some salt. The veggies are soggy with a nice herbal flavor. b
The meat’s a bit dry. The coating is decent, with a slightly crunchy texture. The sauce is decent and has enough flavor. Mashed potatoes are good. The glazed carrots are a bit funky at first bite, a bit raw tasting with a touch of sweetness. After you eat more, you can taste the light cinnamon. b-
i’m not sure what *real* swedish meatballs should taste like so i can’t really comment on the authenticity. these are good. the sauce is creamy and not overwhelming, and the meatballs are tender. the pasta is decent. this gets a b.
